Acting Idol
Comedic Competition Show
Ten actors. One stage. Who will be crowned America's first ever Acting Idol?
Acting Idol, All You Can Eat Productions' monthly fundraiser for their upcoming short film Madame X, returns to The RAT NYC on July 14th as the competition heats up and the audience decides who goes home and who gets to fight another day.
This month’s theme, Stars, Stripes & Stage Lights, celebrates contemporary American theatre with scenes and monologues from acclaimed America-themed plays including What the Constitution Means to Me, POTUS, American Buffalo, and John Proctor Is the Villain.
Part comedy show, part acting showcase, and part reality competition, Acting Idol combines powerhouse performances, guest judges, audience voting, and just enough chaos to keep everyone guessing.
Who will be eliminated? Join us to find out.
Past guest judges include Alise Morales, Meredith Dietz, Esther Fallick, and John Kennedy!
Theme for our upcoming show on July 14th: 🇺🇸 Stars, Stripes, and Stage Lights! ⭐ We'll be celebrating America's 250th birthday with monologues and scenes from America-themed plays, such as:
